Show Notes
For 2019 I set out with pretty solid goals for online business management and labeled my year "Creative Growth". One consistent plummet I have been experiencing ae moves that create uncertainty and a loss of consistent work hours, and time away from my focused work online.

I have learned to maneuver through these time plummets to avoid complete pitfalls and still produced successful work. I stay abreast with online resources such as industry pdf, ebooks, reports, guides, and whitepapers. I successfully published my second book this month Personal Branding A Story Guide and applied to PBX's Google Podcast Program to help launch a book podcast that I think would be stellar.

As for as my "Creative Growth" year goes, I think this is my biggest accomplishment, in addition to launching my blogs email newsletter to new giveaway subscribers

Being a book author is rewarding. I now have a life manuscript about personal branding, brand building, and how I consistently promote and pitch my personal brand successfully to land new opportunities, both offline and online, the book includes my own personal story and guidance on how you my audience can grow you own personal band and become wildly successful.

As far as my Creative Growth year continues to go, I still plan to focus on growing my social media followers and plan to continue to work with brands as an online influencer, Born Pretty is one of eh fist brands to select me as an influencer their nailcare, and nail at, as well as their beauty products,  are truly amazing and had to find.

I am happy to be apart of amazing creative growth online and am sure to continue to produce amazing work.  Be sure to check out my new book Personal Branding  A Story Guide and follow my work as an online influencer and don't forget to check out my social media profiles and follow me there.

3 Mistakes that Plague Coaches / Content Writers and How to Avoid Them

Original content is the lifeblood of the internet. It’s what makes the search engine bots happy, it’s what gives you good search engine rankings, and ultimately it’s what brings potential new clients to your door.
No doubt about it…creating lots of content is hard work and it’s a continual process. There are lots of right and wrong ways to create content – too many to list – but here are the three biggest downfalls to anyone who writes their own website content.

Not Writing Often Enough

Have you had this experience: You discover a new-to-you blog that looks interesting but the owner hasn’t published anything new in two years. This situation is a tad more forgivable if it’s a mom blog or something that was started as a hobby but if you discover a business blog that’s outdated, that hurts the owner’s credibility and makes the reader wonder if this person is still in business. Or how about being on an email list where the list owner disappeared for months or years and then tries to start up by emailing again, like nothing happened?
Solution: Create a writing schedule or outsource the writing tasks so you can avoid both of these scenarios. Life events can certainly affect how frequently someone communicates with their audience but if you’re in business to make a profit, you need a content writing plan.

Always Sounding Like a Sales Letter

In general, all your content should provide value to your readers and while there’s certainly a time and a place to use sales pages, not every blog post, email, or video should be a hard sell to your coaching programs or signature product.
Solution: Answer your readers’ questions. Address their fears. Discuss changes in your industry and how it may affect them. Talk about how much fun you had on your weekend retreat that you hosted with select clients. Give them a behind-the-scenes look at your office or how you record videos. Show them photos of your team members who keep the gears of your business running. These are all topics people can relate to and they will feel like you’re speaking directly to them, wanting to help them, instead of just wanting their money.

Not Editing or Proofreading Before Publishing

The world of internet writing is definitely more casual than the writing we learned back in elementary school. However, business people still need to be professional and sending emails, contracts, or publishing blog posts that sound like a 5thgrader wrote them or that have typos won’t garner you new business.
How do you feel when you see typos in your local newspaper or some other authoritative resource? Don’t you wonder why they don’t have a proofreader on the payroll? Does it make them look sloppy or less professional? Do you want that image for yourself?
Solution: Let your content sit for a few days before you go back to edit it. When you look at your content too long, your brain becomes blind to glaring mistakes and if you hit the publish button, your audience may think you look sloppy, too. Also, look into hiring a Virtual Assistant or proofreader on a monthly basis who can review all your communications so you don’t get bogged down with the task.

Cynthia Crosby Lifestyle

Show Notes
I spent the last year, on project management planning and creation, and online business management. I think now that, my one year leave is over, I can now, focus on real business life tasks, like growing my subscription base, growing an online community, and managing my social media profiles.

This includes focusing on customers, sales, and revenue, and financial accounting.  These are all important tasks, and business management and lifestyle management,  are one of the key areas, I have been focusing, on within, the last year.

I took a one year leave from work and was under so much stress and anxiety from the business world, I had tried and failed at my first business, and now was in need of a solution, solitude, and a plan of action, in my lifestyle, and business.

I found one, I took an influencer vacation, flew off, and landed on a plane, in Las Vegas, then Visited New York City, Long Island, to be exact, for the first time in my life. Than, I planned, focused, and maintained my stress level, and anxiety, throughout my trip, and the rest of the year, my life was in turmoil, and I needed a well-earned vacation, and also needed to debrief from the stress in my life, and maintain, my personal health, my anxiety levels, were through the roof, and I experienced a fear of dying.

My business had died, and I could feel, the stress level, and the entrepreneurial attachment, the hopes, the aspiration, the drive, was still there even after I closed my brick and mortar store, but I had to let go of the dying aspect, of loosing and failing in life, it was my business that had died, not me, I was alive and well, and only experiencing the backlash, the losing effects of creating a successful business and design, and losing the aspect of opening it, and bringing it into successful seasons, and business stages like, a brick and mortar business is created to be like.  That fail-safe had to go!

Within my own personal life, I felt stressed, anxious, and felt the need to drop of stress, or to leave, a stressful environment. I had to let something go and say no, to something, instead of saying, Yes, I can continue to afford a brick and mortar store and an office location while being a solopreneur, and not being able to work in my office, while working in my store, and Yes,

I can continue to work as a brand ambassador, to support the expenses, and, build my experience as an influencer, and Yes, I was three years into business ownership, without one open 8 hour day.

I was doing everything, working promotions events at local stores, as a BA, and earning enough money to support my daily expenses,  and enough to support my business expenses, with a few emails for extensions. I was saying yes to my dreams, but wearing every hat, can become long and results in exhaustion.  I am a happy and energetic creative person, I was balancing everything I could, and did not have money to hire at the time. So soloprenuership in a retail boutique, a lifestyle company actually, can be stressful.

Now a prescription for anxiety medications, and a new career path and focus in life, and a one year timeframe, to do it in, and now I am well healed for the 4th quarter plan of action, in business and my creative entrepreneur projects are golden, and I even took my failed offline business online and am super amazed at the outlook at such tasks, and I am super on the go online, and my 4th quarter growth strategies are ready to be amplified,

What is working for me right now online? and in my personal life? is planning, Its ok for me to have a lot of ideas, and to have creative freedom online, and have the ability to develop the growth strategies, I need, to align in my business.

ROI: I am growing my subscriber base and having upward 100% open rates, through giveaways and email marketing automation.

Analytics: is one of them and tracking my progress, and social media growth, is truly being supported through the digital platform's internal analytics and reporting tools, I even had a reach growth rate of 39,000 viewers or impressions on Twitter.

Marketing and Visibility: I have learned how to market myself online, and how to achieve the visibility, results, I want though profile creation, and display.  I like to display, a professional and creative profile, online, and utilize my expertise and creative knowledge, kinda I know what I like for people to see, and what I visually want, to look like and depict online.  This is helping me to gain interest from new followers, and gain reach and impressions from social media users.

I have also learned to say no to particular projects and yes to others,  I have taken on so much in the last year and achieved a few results and goals, were I was unable to work, make money, and could not devote full-time hours to focusing on customers sales, and revenue, and financial accounting, but I did publish a book, found an editor to who published my first article online, and nourished my online learning and growth, by revisiting, coaching programs, reading articles, learning and growing on Pinterest, and growing my Pinterest profile to 26,000 views and 150 followers, and producing my first digital product.

So being limited during a leave of absence, but having full capacity to learn and grow, and align with the things I wanted to do online, and develop my audience and whom I wanted to reach.  I love the new audience segmentation profiles, boss babes, lady bosses, creative entrepreneurs, and lifestyle entrepreneurs, people just like me, who are doing super awesome and amazing things in business and teaching other people to do the same, thing, is super amazing, I now have a network of super amazing and successful creative entrepreneurs whom I learn from and share with, and gain their feedback and produce amazing content within my own area of business.

Now I am able to build processes, manage my time, track my results, build creative ideas, focus on revenue and 4th quarter sales, and even build on the new and upcoming holiday promotions.

Whew Ha! I made it through my CREATIVE Year!

Writing my first 10,000 Word Book, a new Milestones

Today, I finished my second milestone, I completed my first 10,000 word book and upload it to Amazon, for approval,  after having my book reviewed by Christian Faith Publishing. I have a publishing agreement sitting in my inbox, I do not have the funds or income to pay the two upfront fees. Amazon and Christian Faith Publishing are both really great opportunities, to gain book readers. I am awaiting becoming a published author, and am super stocked at the idea, of accomplishing such a milestone.

And there is an extra incentive in the Christian Faith Publishing agreement,  I am unsure of my promoted book qualifying for a movie deal. a documentary, yes, maybe, an interview series very much so, but a movie, Nah not for a Career Profile book on Freelance Writing. It may be a standard clause within the Publisher's agreement, to offer movie rights, and promises of movie production. Within publishing agreements.

Today, I posted the book to Amazon Publishing, and also to my social media networks, in hopes of approval, and few book sales from marketing and promotions. Freelance Writing Career Profile is a beginner level career guide, that is adaptable along an experts career path to becoming a Freelance Writer, in December I decided to become a freelancer. And soon began studying, researching, gathering data and compiling lists of publications, my first article was published in March. I am so happy with what I am learning and am chalked full of valuable information, I decided to self-publish a book.

Teaching others to follow my learning path by, detailing step by step what it takes to become a freelance writer, is the premise of Freelance Writing Career Profile. For just $9.95, readers have access to their very own freelance writing career guide and can utilize the knowledge gained from my book to launch, grow, and or, develop their own rewarding career, as freelance writers.

This is a very huge milestone for me as a writer, trainer, and coach, I studied communications and marketing in college and my favorite class was PR Writing, I now have a rewarding writing career as a freelancer, my niche is freelance writing, and making money as a writer and the development of a writers career profile.

While I am awaiting Amazon's approval Freelance Writing Career Profile can be purchased via,  digital product platforms Selz Click on the buy now, button, to instantly download, and begin developing your career profile as a freelance writer!
